(In case you’re wondering about the picture, the cat represents ‘observing’…)
I am very honoured to be giving a keynote on UX Research and Implementation in Libraries, at the Stellenbosch University Library Symposium. The theme this year is User Experience, and I'll be talking about what UX is, how it works in practice, and how we use it at the University of York.
(As much as I'd LOVE to head back to South Africa, I haven't been able to make the travel work this time so am doing it remotely. One day I'll get back!)
I'm presenting with Michelle Blake at UXLibs IV, in Sheffield. We'll be talking about how to move UX from a novel new way of working to something truly embedded in the organisational culture.
I'm really pleased to speak to an entirely non-library audience at the Good Things Foundation, about the UX work we're doing at the University of York. Good Things are a charitable organisation who work in the areas around social inclusion.
